Why Keep a Food Log?
Using a food log is a great way of keeping track of what you are
eating. Keeping a food log will help you to realise what you are
eating each day and will therefore show you if your diet is in order
or if it needs changing. Having an idea of what you are eating each
day can be surprising and shocking but if your diet needs changing
you should definetly continue to keep a food diary and make changes
to ensure that you are getting a balanced diet every day. You can
either keep a food log in a diary or you could use one of the many
websites that can help you on the internet. We would recommend using
a website as they can generally calculate what's in the food you are
eating e.g. how much protein you are getting from each food source.
